I discovered Hoodgrown Aesthetics podcast in 2017 on Instagram and immediately connected with their content. One day Althea reached out and gave me a shoutout for my photography, which was incredibly validating at a time when Instagram was my main platform for sharing work.

Later, the podcast posted that they were looking for people to support the team behind the scenes. I applied and became the photographer for all podcast-related events. This experience allowed me to strengthen my skills in event photography, visual storytelling, project management, and collaboration with a creative team. It also taught me how to adapt quickly in a dynamic media environment and capture moments that truly resonate with audiences
